The Intensive Care Society of Ireland (ICSI) was founded in 1987, as a voluntary society of professionals whose remit was one of promoting the development of intensive care medicine in Ireland. The ICSI fulfils this remit through educational meetings, scientific symposia, grant support for scientific research, and engaging with the health care authorities.
Membership is open to all medical practioners with an interest in intensive care medicine.
